We are an appointment only/private studio in Johnson City, NY. We have been open since 2001 and have recently relocated to Johnson Cit after years of being in Downtown Binghamton. The new location is more modern, larger, and more accessible than the downtown location.

The Shaman's Den is the areas premier tattoo and body piercing studio. After 19 years, we have moved from the original location in Downtown Binghamton to Johnson City. This new space is twice as large and plenty of safe, free parking! Our goal is to provide our customers with safe, clean tattoos and body piercings in a modern studio setting.
We currently have three tattooers; Shawn VanOven, to assist you with creating the tattoo that suits you best. From beginning to end, he posses the knowledge and creativity to make your experience unique.
Tim Would has been tattooing for over nine years. Hailing from Philadelphia, he has a variety of styles and likes to do anime and comic related images.
Lisa Benson is the apprentice and is quickly learning the skills to become a well-rounded tattooer.
Our body piercer has been piercing since 1997 . By using only the best possible implant grade jewelry made by American manufacturers, freehand techniques, modern sterilization techniques, and simple aftercare methods, your piercing experience should be as safe as possible.
WE ARE AN APPOINTMENT ONLY STUDIO FOR ALL PROCEDURES.
TATTOO:
You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed in New York State. Government issued ID is required (drivers license, non-drivers ID, passport, military ID). ALL TATTOO TRANSACTIONS ARE CASH ONLY! There is a NON -REFUNDABLE cash deposit due when you make your appointment, the amount of deposit will vary depending on the length of the appointment
Tattoos are MINIMUM $120
PIERCING:
*YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE TO GET AN EAR OR BODY PIERCING! There is NO parental/legal guardian consent for those under 16 years of age.
For minors (those between 16-17), we will require a birth certificate along with the minors photo ID, or Passport (if they are currently in possession of one). We also will require the parent/legal guardian's ID to present one of the following valid and current forms of identification:
State-issued driver's license
State-issued identification card
Resident alien card
Passport
For those who are 18 years or older, you must present one of the following valid and current forms of identification:
State-issued driver's license
State-issued identification card
Resident alien card
Passport
We will never pierce anyone under the age of 18 without parental/legal-guardian consent, as it would be both illegal and unethical.
